Dial Indicators
Dial indicators, digital indicators and length transducers are used for precise measurement of deformations, displacements and deviations in engineering, construction and laboratory testing. Regular calibration ensures reliable results and traceability to length standards.
Metrological activities for dial indicators
- Calibration of mechanical and digital dial indicators and length transducers with electrical output in accordance with STN EN ISO 14978 and STN EN ISO 463.
- Calibration of transducers with voltage, current and pulse output.
- Calibration of extensometers, typically part of force testing machines for mechanical testing of materials, in accordance with STN EN ISO 9513.
- Up to 100 mm, calibration using a length calibrator; above 100 mm up to 650 mm, calibration using reference incremental length transducers.
