Materialized length measures, such as steel measuring tapes and reel tapes, are essential tools in construction, geodesy and laboratory quality control. Their accuracy directly affects the correctness of measurements of structural elements and other construction works, which is why regular calibration is important.
Metrological activities for steel measuring tapes
- Steel measuring tapes according to STN 99 1005 are calibrated up to a length of 50 m.
- Calibration is performed by direct comparison of the calibrated instrument with a reference steel measuring tape.
